This winter, Loved Ones Home Care is launching the MOV Senior Warmth Drive — a community project dedicated to bringing warmth, comfort, and kindness to seniors throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley.

As temperatures drop, many older adults face challenges staying warm. Whether due to fixed incomes, limited transportation, or unexpected hardships, some seniors simply do not have access to proper winter clothing.
That’s where our community steps in.

What We’re Doing

We are collecting warm clothing donations and accepting Venmo contributions to purchase winter essentials for seniors in need across the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Our team will be actively shopping at local second-hand stores, including:

• Goodwill

• Plato’s Closet

• Salvation Army

• Local thrift shops

• Community resale stores

Your donations help us shop for coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, scarves, socks, and more to keep our seniors safe and cozy during the coldest months of the year.

Where Donations Go

Every Venmo contribution and clothing donation goes directly toward:

✔️ Purchasing warm clothing
✔️ Shopping for nominated seniors with specific sizes
✔️ Delivering winter items directly to their homes
✔️ Helping seniors who may otherwise go without

We will also be documenting all purchases, so our community can see exactly how donations are used. With permission, we’ll share photos of the seniors who allow us to post — letting you see the smiles your kindness creates. ❤️
